Maxim Jakubowski’s Sex In The City series brings the steamy side of London, New York, London and Paris to life in the skilled hands of some of the best erotica writers around. To celebrate the four collections, two book readings have been arranged at Sh! Hoxton and Sh! Portobello. I’ll be taking part in the Hoxton evening, on October 21st, along with Matt Thorne, Shelley Silas and Maxim himself. Matt’s story about the erotic power of Heathrow’s lost luggage, What Are You Wearing, is in Sex And The City London, along with my own Rain And Neon, while Shelley contributes Madeleine, Like Seine to the Dublin anthology. Maxim, of course, has the editor’s privilege of contributing to everything!
The event starts at seven o’clock and, best of all, it’s free! Places are limited though, so contact Sh! in advance to book. It being a female-friendly space, men are invited to come along, but only if accompanied by a female guest. The shop is at 57 Hoxton Place, and you can find out more details, as well as the equally exciting line-up for the Portbello event here. See you there!
